we've got something for every body

Our classes are thoughtfully designed with you in mind. We offer a variety of class styles and levels to challenge bodies with all movement backgrounds.

For your safety, we have added levels to each style so you can grow at a pace that is appropriate for you.

level 1

This class is perfect for beginners, first-timers, and those who want to practice the basics.

all levels

All bodies are welcome here. Each class is designed to challenge multiple levels of movers - beginner to intermediate.

level 2

Due to the increased pace of class, including transitions, we recommend that you have taken at least 12 classes at Studio West before joining a class at this level.

We believe Pilates was created for every body to benefit which is why we have intentionally designed our class styles to accommodate all levels - from beginners to those with years of experience.

Each instructor is equipped and educated to provide a variety of modifications that cater to those who attend each class.

Please keep in mind, while each class is considered all levels friendly, there is a variety of intensity that differs from style to style which may impact your experience in each class.

Most of our class styles can accommodate a wide variety of injuries and mobility restrictions, including pregnancy. Please inform the studio prior to attendance of anything that may affect your ability to move safely during class so we can modify as needed.

if you're new to pilates, we recommend exploring our "first timer's" page and starting with a "welcome to reformer" class.

class descriptions

  • signature west

All levels are welcome to take our Signature West class. Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing Pilates for years, each class will incorporate challenges for all levels. You can expect a creative full body flow with a focus on functional form, abdominal control, spinal mobility, balance and connection. We cater this class to current needs, so all bodies are included.

    signature jump (not pregancy safe)

Join us for our favorite form of cardio - the jumpboard! This class uses the jumpboard attachment at the base of the reformer, giving you the ability to "jump" on the reformer when lying on your back. This low-impact activity challenges core stability and coordination while increasing cardiovascular strength. While this class is "all levels" friendly, keep in mind there is an element of light jumping involved in this class.

    flex & flow

Functional flexibility impacts your well-being and leads to a healthy Pilates practice. This class is designed to be a space where you can practice functional movement paired with flexibility and stretch. You can expect to be challenged at a slower pace as you focus intentionally on finding length and connection with your body. You'll leave feeling challenged, stretched, and refreshed.

  • Because we limit Reformer classes to 6 people, classes may fill up fast. Our waitlist is up to 5 individuals. Don't be intimidated by the waitlist -- it moves quickly!

When you join the waitlist, you will receive a text when a spot becomes available. You have 30 to claim your spot in the class before it moves down the waitlist line. If you do not claim your spot and there is still an available spot in the class - remove yourself from the waitlist (cancel) and book yourself into the class.

If you do not get a spot in class or leave the waitlist prior to the 12 hour window, the class will be returned to your account. If you are added to the class, you will receive an email confirmation. If you are added from the waitlist within the 12 hour window, the cancelation policy still applies.

Anyone added to class from the waitlist who does not attend will be considered a "no show."

This class moves at a quicker pace, including transitions, which means comfortability on the reformer is a must  to take this class. We ask that you take at least 12 classes at Studio West prior to joining this class and have the ability to bear weight on both wrists. You can expect for movements to be more complex than those in an all levels class. Our goal is to challenge your core stability, balance, and control, while improving strength through the use of props and a blend of traditional and contemporary Pilates choreography.

We ask that you take at least 12 classes at Studio West prior to joining this class and have the ability to bear weight on both wrists. We utilize a variety of weighted props, ranging from 3lbs to 15lbs, in order to increase the intensity of the class while also keeping it attainable for most clients. Our goal is to challenge your core stability, balance, and control, while improving strength through the use of props with a blend of traditional and contemporary Pilates choreography.

teacher's choice

New this year - we introduce you to the Pilates Tower. The Tower is a vertical attachment to the back of the Reformer that allows you to build upon your current Reformer Pilates skillset with new and creative challenges. You can expect this class to be all levels friendly and we specifically encourage those who have never tried a Tower class to join in. Because there are a wide variety of movements that can be taught on a Reformer x Tower, the specific format of class is at the discretion of the teacher.
