Doors open 10 minutes prior to the start of your session, so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class.
This is not only for the benefit of the group, but to also ensure that you have time to take a *deep breath*, put your things away and get ready for class without rushing.
Late arrivals past 5 minutes will not be admitted to avoid any disruption to the group and for your safety.
Because we limit Reformer classes to 6 people, classes may fill up fast. Our waitlist is up to 5 individuals. Don't be intimidated by the waitlist -- it moves quickly!
When you join the waitlist, you will be added to the waitlist queue. When a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be added to the class. The next person in the line will be moved up, and so on.
The waitlist cut-off (no more additions) is 2 hours prior to the start of class. If you see a spot open in class within that two hour window, you may show up to class and we can book you in.
If you do not get a spot in class or leave the waitlist prior to the 12 hour window, the class will be returned to your account. If you are added to the class, you will receive an email confirmation. If you are added from the waitlist within the 12 hour window, the cancelation policy still applies.
Anyone added to class from the waitlist who does not attend will be considered a "no show" and be charged our "no show" fee.
Our studio operates in Central Time Zone (CST). However, if you are browsing our schedule from a different time zone, our booking platform displays a class schedule based on your current location.
Ex) If you are browsing our schedule in New York City, our schedule will unfortunately reflect EST.
If you book a class while outside of CST, your confirmation email will accurately share your booked class time in CST. If you have questions about your scheduled class time, please send our team an email.

the specifics
Reformer class sizes are limited to 3 and 6 reformers as classes are taught in two different rooms. The class size is noted when you sign up for the class. The small class sizes allow for the instructors to provide hands on corrections to each individual, providing a more personalized experience resulting in more effective results.
Privates solo/duet/trio and group classes are available upon request. If you are interested in booking a private session, email us: privatebookings@studio-west-pilates.com
Dress to move your body! We recommend wearing your favorite pair of leggings (or biker shorts) and a top of your choice. As long as you feel comfortable and secure, you'll be good to go. Socks, with or without grips, are recommended but not required.
Grip socks are recommended but not required! We leave this up to personal preference. Grip socks will be available for purchase in the studio for $15.
We get this question often! According to Joseph Pilates: "You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions, and have a completely new body in 30 sessions."
We ask that you keep in mind that the definition of "results" depends on the person. Each body is different. As you develop your Pilates practice, you will notice a difference as you improve your form and technique. Pilates has many benefits outside of physique.
If you have specific goals that you want to achieve, we recommend setting up a private session with one of our instructors. Email to schedule: privatebookings@studio-west-pilates.com.
All of our instructors are trained to modify exercises and provide accommodations to their class plans depending on the specific needs of those in each class. Please notify instructors prior to class if you have any injuries or mobility restrictions that we need to keep in mind.
If you're still unsure, we recommend setting up a private session with one of our instructors to discuss more in depth. Email us: hello@studio-west-pilates.com.
Pilates is a great low-impact exercise to practice during and after pregnancy.
Please email us at hello@studio-west-pilates.com. to let us know that you're expecting prior to attending class so our instructors can modify with your pregnancy in mind. We do recommend consulting with your doctor before attending.
